Backwoods chiropractic treatments include world class therapeutic techniques utilized by top performing Olympic athletes and professional sports associations like the NHL, MLB and NFL. Most treatments will include a combination of soft tissue therapy, movement analysis, and spinal manipulation (adjustments).

Reflexology and Hot-Stone Massage

Enjoy a Foot Soak (prepared with individual liners) as a natural detox enhancer for your soles. Focus will be on massaging the reflex points and zones of the feet to reduce strain and encourage wellness. Sink into our comfortable seating and put your feet up as a form of excellent self-care. The station will be sanitized as per COVID-19 protocols.

Hello North Thompson!

My name is Dr. Zach Paul, DC. I am very excited to be serving my home town, Barriere and hopefully the Clearwater area soon too.

I grew up in the Fraser Valley where I attended the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) and later completed my doctor of Chiropractic (DC) at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2017. After graduation I practiced in Agassiz and Surrey before moving to Barriere in April 2020.

The chiropractic treatment methods I use are what I believe to be the most effective techniques available today. It has always been important to me to stay ahead of the game when it comes to evidenced based therapy and providing top notch care to my patients.

My wife and I love travelling and experiencing the outdoors. We spend most of our free time exploring BC’s different lakes, mountains and trails. Some of our favourite activities include hiking, skiing, biking, hunting and snow shoeing.

This year my wife and I decided to leave the Fraser valley and pursue our dream of starting a hobby farm. We chose a property in Barriere where we now have cows, goats, chickens, pigs and of course our dogs and cats. Our only regret so far is not making the move to Barriere sooner.

I am very excited to meet you all and I can’t wait to grow our roots in this beautiful, friendly community!

A few family members and I relocated to Barriere in May of 2020. We are so happy we did! Barriere’s backyard offers Sun Peaks for winter skiing, tons of lakes to discover and a community that reminds me of my childhood. The community has been very friendly!
